Jacqueline – Director and Teacher
Jacqueline founded Art Mix Creative Learning Center
in January 2005. She has worked in the field of art
education, specifically teaching children with special
needs, since 1994. In 1989, Jacqueline received her
B.A. in Government and International Relations from
Georgetown Univeristy in Washington, D.C.. She earned
a Master of Arts Education in 1996, and a Master Special
Education in 1998, from the University of Houston.
Jacqueline worked for several years with the pediatric
patients at M.D. Anderson Cancer Center through the
Children’s Art Project, and at The River Performing
and Visual Arts Center. In 2004, she began working
with City Art Works, to teach a new after-school art
program at West University Elementary School.
